Butterfly Machine

Butterfly Machine is a 3D puzzle game about a robot learning to change itself.

Nestled deep within a decaying computer system, the robot sets out on an unfamiliar journey and must continually build and rebuild its internal logic on the path to the root of the world. You, the player, have full control over how the robot functions. You decide how it processes input, navigates its surroundings and interacts with external processes. The robot’s circuitry is entirely yours to control, leading to a variety of surprising interactions. However, the robot is fragile, and so each modification must be handled with care even when the next step seems impossible.

Traverse grand, desolate environments and tinker with abandoned machines as you venture into the unknown and catch a glimpse at the fabric that holds everything together.
